Hi Andy

Happy New Year!

Now we're well and truly into 2018, it's a perfect time to look back on the campaigning successes we had over the past 12 months. It was a busy year and we couldn't have done it without you, so thank you!

In our latest blog, we focus on some of the highlights, from working with people with dementia on refreshing the Dementia Statements to ensuring dementia was a key issue at the General Election.

Looking ahead, this year will bring plenty of opportunity to campaign for change. The Government's consultation for people in England, on social care for older people, is a key moment for us to ensure people with dementia are listened to.

We'll be in touch soon about how you can help. For now, thank you for your support. We hope you'll continue to support us in driving change during 2018.

Best wishes,

Katie and Alzheimer's Society Campaigns team

p.s. This week the NHS winter crisis has received high coverage in the news, but this is something we've been talking about for months. People with dementia are experiencing delays in hospital for twice as long as people without the condition. If you haven't already, join us to take action and change this.
